On August 27, 2025, two Baldante & Rubenstein clients represented by partner Gabriel Magee are featured in the Jersey Shore Online article “Sex Abuse Suits Filed Against School, Diocese.” The article discusses the two plaintiffs, who are sisters, that Magee is representing in a lawsuit against the Lacey Township Board of Education.
The first case, a 2024 lawsuit, alleges that Father Lawrence Gadek, a former priest of the Archdiocese of Newark and teacher at Lanoka Harbor Elementary School, abused the plaintiff, F.H., from 1977 through 1981. The second lawsuit, which the article focuses on, was also filed against the Lacey Township Board of Education and RCAN, claiming that Gadek abused another student, W.S. Doe, who is F.H.’s sister.
