Partners John Baldante and Daniella Price featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer article “They’re seeking justice under a new N.J. law. Meet the Philly-area lawyers who are representing hundreds of child sex abuse cases.”

Philadelphia, PA–On November 4, 2024, attorneys John Baldante and Daniella Price were featured in the article “They’re seeking justice under a new N.J. law. Meet the Philly-area lawyers who are representing hundreds of child sex abuse cases” for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The article features Baldante and Price’s recent cases against the Petrov Ballet School in Bergen County, New Jersey, which resulted in a $30 million consent judgment on behalf of five former ballet students. The article highlights the voices of Cristina Tummillo and Elizabeth Flynn, two ballet students who initiated the lawsuits. “We applaud these girls for being so brave,” Baldante commented in the article.

The article discusses the effects of the revised New Jersey Child Victims Act, which allows survivors to sue their abusers until age 55, and Baldante & Rubenstein’s ensuing civil work on behalf of child sex abuse victims involving public and private schools and the Roman Catholic Church. “We’re on the front lines of all of this,” Baldante said. “It’s been a painful wait for these survivors.” Baldante & Rubenstein has filed almost 600 cases across the state of New Jersey, more than any other law firm.
