After over six years of litigation in the bankruptcy system, Baldante & Rubenstein partners John Baldante and Gabriel Magee, along with our colleagues, are happy to announce this global settlement with the Diocese and its insurance carriers on behalf of all of these survivors within the Diocese of Camden. This settlement would not have been possible without the dedication to justice, patience, and perseverance of all survivors, including our clients. In addition to the monetary compensation, the Diocese has agreed to many non-monetary provisions of the settlement, including production of all files for priests who have been accused of abuse. While this settlement can never erase the harm that has been caused, we believe it is an important step towards justice for our clients and all of the brave survivors of sexual abuse in New Jersey.
